About Neoperk

For many Indian farmers, timely access to accurate soil health data is still a challenge. Traditional soil testing is slow, expensive, and chemical-intensive which delays key decisions and creates inefficiencies across the agricultural value chain.

Neoperk Technologies is solving this with a rapid, chemical-free soil testing solution designed for scale. Its Soil Spectral Device uses near-infrared spectroscopy and Machine Learning (ML) to analyse key nutrients like Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium—delivering results in minutes, not days. The process cuts costs by over 90% and speeds up results by 95% compared to conventional lab methods.

The device is field-ready: compact, Bluetooth-enabled, and paired with Neoperk’s Operator App, which guides trained field staff through standardised sample collection. Soil samples are collected from farms and brought to Local Testing Units, where they are scanned using Neoperk’s spectral device and interpreted by ML models.

Beyond diagnostics, Neoperk supports farmers with tailored, crop-specific recommendations based on rapid test results. These insights help build precise nutrient management plans, improving efficiency, reducing fertiliser costs, and increasing yields and profitability. The approach minimises over-fertilisation and chemical runoff, making it environmentally sound.

Neoperk’s solution is already in use across Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, and Telangana, and has recently expanded to Sri Lanka. With a sharp focus on scalability and impact, Neoperk is pushing for a future where data-backed, sustainable farming becomes standard practice.

Neoperk at MIF’s Scale-Up

Neoperk joined the Scale-Up program in January 2025, and remains an active participant in the program.

MIF is optimistic about its potential to scale into a high-impact startup delivering environmental benefits by tackling the critical challenge of soil testing in Indian agriculture.
