On April 3, 2025, the Marico Innovation Foundation (MIF) hosted its inaugural InnoWin Day in Mumbai—a focused event designed to bridge the gap between India’s top innovators and the strategic connections they need for scaling their breakthrough innovations. The event brought together 24 innovators from MIF’s Indian Innovation Icons 2025 and Scale-Up programs, spanning sectors such as agri-tech, clean technology, plastic waste management, and social impact.

Structured as a series of 20-minute, pre-arranged meetings, InnoWin Day facilitated direct interactions between startups and potential partners, customers, and investors. Participants engaged with representatives from leading organisations including Vedanta, Colgate-Palmolive, Reliance Industries, ITC, JSW Ventures, and the India Climate Collaborative.

As Digit noted in its coverage, InnoWin Day felt “more like a matchmaking ground where AI-led startups tackled India’s most urgent crises, from polluted air to plastic waste.” Express Computer highlighted how the event “sparked real-world scale by connecting innovators with capital, corporates, and collaborations,” while Electronics For You Business described it as “a stage for pilot projects, partnerships, and scale-ready innovation.”

The day also featured a panel discussion on ‘Scaling Strategies’ with insights from Arindam Paul of Atomberg Technologies and Dr. Vaibhav Tidke of S4S Technologies. Both shared how their innovations—energy-efficient appliances and solar-powered food processing—scaled from niche solutions to Soonicorns generating over INR 100 crore in annual revenue.

Through a partnership with The Better India, InnoWin Day also deepened support for the winners of Indian Innovation Icons 2025. Each winner was featured in a short documentary film, sharing not only what they built but why. These videos premiered at the ceremony and were later released online as part of the post-award outreach, aiming to boost visibility and trust for these ventures. Among the featured winners:

InnoWin Day underscored a critical insight: the challenge is not invention, but connection. The future of India’s top innovators may depend on how effectively that gap is bridged.
