Twelve startups supported by the Marico Innovation Foundation (MIF) have made remarkable strides in plastic waste management, collectively saving 124,360 tons of CO2 emissions over the past year. Featured in MIF’s ‘Innovation in Plastics: The Potential and Possibilities’ playbook, these startups have developed innovative solutions to address India’s escalating plastic consumption and waste output. This progress was showcased at the Plastics Program Roundup 2023-24, a day-long event—also covered by TheCSRUniverse—where MIF reviewed the impact of the innovative plastic waste management solutions it has been fostering.
