Under this Grand Challenge, we are supporting total 6 ingenious solutions. Apart from offering a grant, we shall continue to boost their efforts by providing access to business opportunities, mentorship and guidance on business operations.

Since its inception in 2003, Marico Innovation Foundation has strived to fuel and nurture innovation in India. Through its core programs, the Foundation has played a catalytic role in the innovation ecosystem to help start-ups scale-up. The Foundation responded to the growing seriousness of the COVID-19 pandemic by launching a first of its kind grand challenge Innovate2Beat COVID in March 2020.

Marico Innovation Foundation, A.T.E. Chandra Foundation and Mr. Harsh Mariwala in his personal capacity have come together to offer a total grant value of Rs. 2.5 crores.

The winning organisations created sustainable, cost effective and ‘built-for-India’ innovations. Interestingly, they began working on their solutions only after COVID-19 crisis broke out using quick thinking and agility to deliver solutions for emerging problems.
