The Marico Innovation Foundation instituted the first ever Innovation for India awards in 2006. The awards aim to recognize the greatest innovations to come out of India in the recent past - innovations that have positively impacted our lives and have at their core a great idea coupled with a unique insight. The awards are a formal recognition of those who have innovated or had the courage to attempt to innovate, both in the business and social arena.
