Orbit Shifting Innovation, A live course in Applied Innovation :

This is a unique partnership between top Business Schools of the country and the corporate world, thereby creating great value for both. Erehwon has, using its cutting edge Orbit-shift methodology created a complete design for a 2-month course on Applied Innovation. This is an elective course, which is ‘live’ in nature – the students will take on a live business challenge from the corporate world.

The Foundation is tying up with prospective sponsoring organizations who will not only provide a high-end business challenge that the students will take on but will also fund the course. The challenge will be taken up by 4 teams of 4-5 students each, who will in turn be trained and coached by experienced Erehwon consultants.

A prototype was conducted in 2006 at SP Jain Institute of Management & Research last year and today this is a plug-n-play model complete with course design, student selection, evaluation etc. that can be customized for each business school.

This is the first formal large scale effort in the country where industry and academia will work together for mutual benefit… a real win-win.
